Lansinoh 2-in-1 Electric Breast Pump Art.53065 Electric breast pump
The Lansinoh 2-in-1 Dual-Phase Electronic Breast Pump allows you to express both breasts at the same time and can also be used as a single breast pump. Incredible performance at a reasonable price. Provides two-phase professional pumping at home, during the fast phase, milk flow is stimulated, during the slow phase, its flow and expression are maximized.
Key Features and Benefits
When breastfeeding, the baby starts sucking rapidly on the mother's breast to stimulate the milk to flow and flow freely. Once the milk has flowed, the baby sucks more slowly, taking deeper sips. While it is impossible to exactly replicate the process of breastfeeding, the breast pump has two phases: the let-down phase and the maximization of expression phase.
In the stimulation stage (Phase 1), the breast pump reproduces a faster pumping rhythm in order to initiate the mother's milk flow.
The pumping phase (Phase 2) has 3 adjustable pumping modes. A unique and wonderful feature of the Lansinoh 2-in-1 two-phase electronic breast pump is the ability to adjust the pumping force depending on individual preferences. By changing the pumping modes using the breast pump mode selector button, you can choose the mode that is most comfortable for you. By pressing this button, you can select modes 1, 2 and 3. The breast pump automatically switches from phase 1 to phase 2 after two minutes.
If you want to skip the two-minute let-down phase, or if your milk comes in faster than two minutes, press the release button to go to the expression phase. If your milk flow slows down or stops during expression, you can press the release button again and go back to the let-down phase to start expressing again.
You can increase/decrease the suction level to the maximum level at which you will feel comfortable both in the stimulation phase and in the expression phase, to do this you need to press the + and - buttons.
How is pumping done?
Double pumping:
- Make sure all tubes are connected to the connector.
- Press the breast pump set against your breast so that your nipple is pointing straight into the teat channel in the nipple shield. Make sure your breast is completely filled with the shields, this will create a vacuum and prevent air from being sucked in. If you experience any rubbing or discomfort in your nipple area, you may need a different size of shield. The breast pump set and shields should be tilted slightly downwards to allow the milk to flow naturally into the bottle.
- To turn on the breast pump, press and hold the On/Off button. . When turned on, the breast pump is in the milk stimulation phase. After two minutes, the stimulation phase will automatically switch to the expression phase, mode 2. The stimulation phase icon will go out on the LCD display and the expression phase icon will light up.
- After the milk expression process is complete, the breast pump should be switched off, while the display will remain lit for a few seconds. Before removing the nipples from the breast, make sure that the nipples are not sucked in. If necessary, stop the suction by inserting a finger between the breast and the nipple. Once the suction has stopped, the nipple can be safely removed.
- Note: If no control buttons are pressed for 20 seconds, the LCD backlight will automatically turn off. If the breast pump is left unattended for more than 60 minutes, the control system will automatically turn off the power to the device.
