Alexander Hot Potato Junior

A hilarious family game to test your reflexes. Think, associate, throw and get rid of the Hot Potato before you get burned!

Lay the board out on the table. The game starts with the lowest player taking a plush potato in his hand. The person sitting to his right draws the first card from the deck and reads the question aloud. He or she then vigorously spins the spud or launches the timekeeping app available for download on a smartphone. The one holding the potato has to answer the question asked. Once the answer has been given, the potato is handed over as quickly as possible to the person on your left (clockwise) and they too must answer the same question. The potato circulates between the players until the timer stops spinning or the phone app shows stop. Then the person who had the plush potato in his or her hand at that moment drops one field on the board.

The questions in this version of the game have been adapted to the range of interests of younger children so that the answers are not too difficult for them. At the same time, they are a great opportunity to broaden the conceptual and linguistic range.
